Suburban living with valley views
Whittier’s Spy Glass Hill neighborhood features scenic hills, impressive estates and miles of nearby hiking trails. "This area is sort of landlocked, you have to drive a reasonable distance once you exit the freeways to get to the center of the action, and it's quieter than neighboring communities," says Kimberlee K Mar Gaw, broker associate with Covenant Properties & Mortgage. Flanked by the massive Rose Hills Memorial Park, which covers more than 1,000 acres and features a stunning rose garden, Spy Glass Hill offers a quiet environment removed from the bustle of Whittier’s busier streets. "The cemetery is a big part of the city and the homes surrounding it," Mar Gaw says. "Many homes overlook the cemetery's greenbelts, which are very peaceful."
Amazing views of downtown Los Angeles can be seen from Spyglass Hill.
