Most homes have fenced-in backyards with covered decks, some of which face the community’s fishing ponds. These homes typically offer around 2,500 to 3,500 square feet of living space with four to five bedrooms. They tend to sell for around $350,000 to $450,000.Parks
Some residents live just a few feet from the community pool and playground at the center of Avalon Park, while others are no more than a half-mile away. The ten ponds are spread out all over the neighborhood, so it’s easy for residents to walk to a fishing spot. The community has two entrances to a 9-acre nature trail that runs through thick woods by the Big Slough, another fishing spot. Sedgwick County Park is about 4 miles away, featuring 400 acres of trails, fishing lakes, sports facilities and its “Boundless Playground,” created for children of all abilities. The Sedgwick County Zoo is right next to the park with more than 3,000 animals.Schools

Community yard sales usually occur once every few months, along with dumpster days, where residents can get rid of any trash or unwanted furniture. The HOA board also hosts quarterly meetings to keep residents up to date on the community.Transportation
