Crosspointe offers community and top schools near D.C.
Only 20 miles southwest of D.C. sits Crosspointe, a community-rich suburb. “There’s a large Fall Festival every year and a community yard sale that gets a ton of participation,” says Keller Williams realtor Ron Kowalski. “The HOA is great, and they put time back into the community and it shows, there’s always people at the public pools, especially for swim team events.” With large homes on vast lots and an excellent school district, it’s no surprise that Crosspointe is a destination for those looking to settle in northern Virginia.

Brick Colonial Revivals and 1980s builds line quiet streets
Home prices begin near $750,000 for a four-bedroom build from 1986 and range up to $1.25 million for five-bedroom brick Colonial Revival models. “The homes in Crossponite are beautiful,” states Kowalski. The large windows of the homes look out onto the vast front lawns. Street parking is not an issue, as many of the homes feature driveways and multi-car garages. The homes are spread out in an unplanned map that gives each street a unique feel, and the large cul-de-sacs provide privacy and quiet. Mature oak trees line the flat wide sidewalks and provide shade for morning walks with the dog. Many residents have tried their hand at gardening in the front yards, while spacious backyards are great for entertaining.
