Woodcliff Lake is a "big community town"
A former farming community, Woodcliff Lake's road used to be jammed up every weekend in the fall as New Yorkers drove across state lines to fill their cars with pumpkins, apple cider and freshly baked doughnuts. While the farms are long gone, the community spirit is still alive and well. Tice Farms, a former popular farm, is now a strip mall with upscale stores. But it's also still a neighborhood gathering place. Tice's Corner Marketplace hosts an annual fall harvest festival and a food truck festival, while the borough's pool always as a summer bash event. "Plain and simple, it's a very big community town," says Linda Stamker, a licensed real estate sales associate with Compass.

Woodcliff Lake's housing stock "has something for everyone," Stamker says. While most prices fall somewhere in the range of $1.5 million and $2.2 million, houses also appear on the market between $600,000 and $900,000. Woodcliff Lake has many historic homes, some dating from the 1800s. There are also many luxurious manor estates featuring manicured lawns, pools and, in some cases, private drives. Homes feature a minimum of four bedrooms, with some as many as seven bedrooms. Some residents have views of the Woodcliff Lake Reservoir from their homes.
