Perhaps best known as the home of the Social Security Administration, the community of Woodlawn in Baltimore County is a mixed-use residential and commercial area. “There was a lot of interest and people moving out there to be closer to the Social Security Administration and Security Boulevard back in the 70s,” explains Charles Marshall, longtime area resident and Realtor with RE/MAX. “The houses are moderately priced and people can afford them, plus you’ve got Windsor Mill to the north, Ellicott City to the west and Catonsville to the south, which are all popular areas, attractions, too.”
