This unassuming community has a sizeable inventory of homes and mom-and-pop restaurants. The neighborhood has some points to the west with views of the Hudson River. “People live here because of location,” says Sara Reel, a local real estate agent at Julia B Fee Sothebys International Realty. “That particular location is right off the highway, so it's pretty accessible and it's not far from the Yonkers waterfront.”

St. Johns Riverside Hospital provides emergency services and medical care 2 miles away.
