The Middle of Everything

Over a hundred years ago, Middleburg Heights was nothing more than a heavily wooded farming community mainly consisting of log cabins. The area has since been developed with all the modern amenities residents could hope for. According to Sharon LaBuda, a Realtor with Coldwell Banker Schmidt Realty, who has been selling in Cleveland and its surrounding areas for 11 years, “People move here for the location. You’re in close proximity to downtown Cleveland and the city’s parks, highways, the airport and downtown Akron.” It’s no wonder, then, that Middleburg Heights has earned itself the nickname “The Middle of Everything.”

Single- and multi-family homes

Modest ranch-style homes line the residential streets, with cozy split-level homes peppered throughout, among other architectural styles. Homebuyers interested in moving will find residences on the market for an average price of $247,500. There are options for renters as well among newer developments. Multifamily units rest near Big Creek Parkway, off the main roads and blanketed by season-changing trees. A path perforates the parkway, and residents will often walk their dogs here and take in the greenery that northeast Ohio is known for.
