Del Valle High School and the district's central campuses are about a mile east on Ross Road. Everything falls within Del Valle ISD.
Getting anywhere is short work. Highway 71 and SH 130 are minutes away, which puts Austin-Bergstrom International Airport roughly ten minutes out, downtown Austin about twenty, and major area employers including Tesla Giga Texas and the Circuit of the Americas well inside a normal commute. Grocery, fuel, and everyday errands are along the 71 corridor just north of the community.

McKinney Falls State Park is about fifteen minutes west for swimming holes and longer hikes.
