Orchard Park Home for Sale

Orchard Park, a small neighborhood northwest of Downtown Omaha, features ranch-style and split-level homes built in the 1960s and 70s. Properties are generally well-maintained, and they're priced below the citywide median, drawing first-time buyers. Homes here sell quickly, but the adjoining Hartman Avenue neighborhood offers similar styles and pricing. The neighborhood's namesake park has patches of sun and shade, walking paths, sports facilities, a playground and a splash pad. For more outdoor recreation, Benson Golf Course is close by, adjacent to Benson Park's fishing lagoon, trails and baseball field. Students are served by Omaha Public Schools, and Hartman Elementary is within walking distance. Fast-food chains and casual restaurants surround the shopping centers on 72nd Street, where you'll find retailers like Target, Ross, Marshall's and PetSmart. Target sells groceries, and produce and other supplies are available at Knyaw Village Asian Market. Although Metro buses stop in the neighborhood, most residents get around by car; the drive to Downtown Omaha usually takes about 15 minutes. Jobs in health care are available closer to home at CHI Health Immanuel, just outside Orchard Park.
