A rural, forested neighborhood in New Hampshire

People living in Pelham see trees and greenery everywhere, and the great outdoors is never out of reach. "It is a quaint town in a very rural community," Thomas McPherson with RE/MAX says. McPherson has lived in the area for over 25 years and has several years of local real estate experience. "The area is right along the Massachusetts and New Hampshire border so that people will go back and forth for different reasons like shopping or family getaways."

Grab a hearty breakfast at The Yolk Grill

Pelham residents must leave the area for most shopping and dining opportunities. One restaurant near town is The Yolk Grill, a breakfast and lunch restaurant known for having a diverse menu and well-presented plates. Head down Bridge Street to Pelham House of Pizza to get a slice of pizza or other pub food favorites. Locals will have a McDonald's and a Dunkin nearby but must leave the area for Hudson or Nashua to find more restaurant variety. Residents will have a Hannaford grocery store nearby to pick up their meats, produce and pantry favorites. Locals will head to the southern part of the area for local shops, including Bits & Pieces Quilt Shop for fabric, Candy Break Outlet Store for all kinds of sweets, Exquisite Flowers Etc, for Florist services for any occasion. Residents must jump on the road for about seven miles across Interstate 93 to find big retailers like Walmart or Target for everyday household goods.
