RENTAL AVAILABLE August 22nd:
Fully furnished, beautiful, separate studio cottage (with private entrance) in the garden of our historic 118-year-old Craftsman house. We are near the corner of San Fernando and 12th street in the historic Naglee Park Neighborhood.
WALK to Everything: Five minutes from SJSU. 10 minutes from City Hall. 15 minutes from Downtown. Easy access to Caltrain and Light Rail. Protected bike lanes close by. Extremely safe neighborhood.
Completely renovated, light-filled, garden studio cottage, with a full bathroom, kitchenette, walk-in closet, and washing machine (plus drying rack). It is beautifully appointed with bamboo floors, air conditioning and heating, skylights, plenty of desk/counter space and tons of built-in storage. French doors open into the lushly landscaped garden.
The kitchenette includes a toaster oven, microwave, small fridge/freezer and double burner hot plate. There is a full-size bed (with no space for an additional bed), dining table for two, desk chair, nightstand and super-comfy chair-and-a-half. Everything is provided, including dishes, cooking pans, utensils, linens. This is a turnkey unit, but I am happy to store anything you don't need if you prefer to use your own items (except for the comfy chair and bed). Tenant also enjoys use of the garden space. Very private, quiet and secure (locked gate entrance).
We live in the main house and so we are right on-site. We care a lot about making sure our tenant has any issues taken care of quickly.
$1750/month ($1900 for a couple). All Utilities + Mesh WIFI for additional fixed $100/mth ($150/couple). Month to month lease (with 45 day notice). Security deposit same as first month's rent, no last month's rent required. Neighborhood parking permit included.
Absolutely no dogs/cats or smokers (please do not ask for exceptions). We do have a VERY friendly dog, Shayna, who has full access to the back yard. You are welcome to borrow her for play time. We also occasionally dog-sit for friends.
