Not only does this vacation home include upgrades such as a chef’s kitchen and upgraded spa-like bathrooms, it also has an outdoor swimming pool and hot tub. Our home caters to both short-term and medium-term stays, making it an excellent choice for corporate housing needs. Whether you find yourself temporarily displaced from your home or require accommodations for your team during an extended project in our area, we provide a welcoming and comfortable "home away from home" experience.
Free parking is available to guests with plenty of space in the double garage or on the driveway. There is a laundry room with a washer and dryer available for your use. We welcome house-trained pets with a non-refundable pet fee of $150 per pet (maximum of 2 pets per stay). An additional nightly rate applies for more than 6 guests, and early check-in and late check-out options are available for a small additional fee.
Conveniently located a stone's throw from the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, Waxahachie is a vibrant, authentic small-town Texas community. Known as the “Crape Myrtle Capital of Texas,” each summer, the city’s historic streets are lined with hundreds of beautiful pink crape myrtles in full bloom, celebrated by the Crape Myrtle Festival in July. Highlights include Railyard Park, Ellis County Courthouse, and Ellis County African American Hall of Fame, all within a short drive. For those interested in exploring the Dallas-Fort Worth area, attractions like Dogwood Canyon Audubon Center and Grand Prairie Premium Outlets are nearby.
We do not allow parties or large unauthorized gatherings of any sort at our property. Only registered guests will be allowed over while you are renting our property. Check-in is at 4pm and check-out is at 10am. Smoking of any type is not allowed, and violations are subject to a $450 fine plus the cost to clean, deodorize, and repair damages. The fireplace is wood burning, but for safety reasons, we do not provide wood and ask guests to refrain from using it without previously arranged, written approval. A noise alert device is installed to monitor decibel levels and ensure compliance with local noise ordinances. Your privacy is our utmost concern, and the device does not record or store sound data.
The primary bedroom features a dedicated work station, making it ideal for remote work. High-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the home.
