There is a cell signal booster and gentle easy access to the lake, shed, and boat dock. The cabin was originally built in the 1800s on a farm in Pennsylvania. The white oak hand hewn logs were gently moved to North Carolina in 2001. The owners hired a local architect from Sylva to design a classic colonial style cabin using the rustic logs to surround the entire exterior walls. The logs were assembled and treated in Sylva prior to being moved to its final resting place on Lake Glenville. A heavy gauge metal roof covers the main cabin and expansive covered porch. A custom shed is steps away for extra storage for water toys. Many unique features of the cabin include: hand hewn log stairs, massive stone fireplace, old chestnut countertops, hardwood floors throughout, large but cozy loft. 1800's feel yet modern appliances. Given the gentle slope to the dock and the closeness to the lake, you could throw a stone to the water from the porch!
