There's a full open kitchen, a spacious bathroom with a large curved bathtub. Modern amenities include skylights, wifi, a 48” TV with Roku in the living area and another 32" in the master, full laundry, a Subzero refrigerator, a large bathtub, and master bedroom with AC. Walk to close by nature hiking, or coffee and croissants. Enjoy the California coastal breezes of sunny Santa Barbara in this unique open living Craftsman Style Cottage...with a modern twist! Only 9 minutes to Hendry's beach.

Set in a quiet residential neighborhood on a tree lined street, walk through the woods by the creek to the Museum of Natural History, then on the Mission and downtown Santa Barbara. Or stroll to a nature walk at Stevens Park or Rocky Nook Park, each about 1/2 mile. Walk to coffee at the Handlebar Café for a latte and amazing pastries, or Trader Joe’s for your favorite groceries.

Gaze at the majestic mountains, or turn your attention to the fairy-like pond with lilies and tiny waterfalls. The charming sustainable garden has over 500 species of unusual plant species, including 37 types of fruits and many other vegetables and flowers. Pick your own organic fruit and vegetables and get acquainted with your inner farmer! (Or just relax – the gardeners come once a week...) You might catch a glimpse of Peter Rabbit scurrying about.

After your bedtime story (either from a book in the library - or the large modern TV with Roku) you can sleep like a baby in the comfortable queen bed. As you drift away, you might hear soft mission bells or the soothing sound of a distant train. There’s also a clever pull-out double bed in the library, which serves as a cozy second bedroom area or reading area, and a comfy couch if you need more space. (Please note that this room has silk curtains and art pocket doors, rather than traditional doors, good for close friends and family.) Pick your own organic fruit and vegetables!
