Q: How soon can I move in?
A: Vetting takes a few days at least and typically a week. First we chat a bit via email, text or on the phone. Then you'll fill out a candidate form. I send the form to the others. Then you'll be invited to tour and meet us. Then you'll fill out a formal application and undergo a credit check. Then you'll sign a lease and pay move in fees via a tenant portal online. So ideally it would take about a week more or less. If you can't wait at least 5 days to move in this might not work out because of the time it takes to go through all of these steps. Everyone at the house has gone through these steps so you can be assurred the others are vetted.

PARKING:
Uncovered, driveway parking. We also have a gated and locked side patio for bicycles. Parking is assigned.
BATHROOM: You will have your own private bathroom with walk in shower, toilet, vanity, and sink.
FOOD SPACE: Each person has thier own food shelves. You will share an entire fridge/freezer with one other person (not three others) and have designated shelf spaces.
Electricity, water, internet, and professional cleaning services, are included in the rent. (There is no gas utility needed)
CHORES: Each person has a chore to care for the property. Yours will be to take care of the yards. It usually takes about 1 hour a week or as needed.
MONTHLY LEASE TERMS: First 6 months of residency required, then it is month to month after this. I just need a 30 day notice.*
*There are two times of the year that you are restricted from moving out: April-July 25 and Dec-Jan 15. These times are difficult to find new tenants. I set this restriction to make it less stressful for me during these times. Otherwise you are welcome to move out day at anytime with a 30-day notice.

We are in our 30's and older. Quiet and professional setting.

ME:
I am the owner of the house who lives about 10 minutes away. I have lived there for over 14 years and I still use the garage as my studio and storage space. I am at the house frequently but usually just to do chores, maintenance, drop off or pick up supplies from the garage. I pop in and out, but not sleeping or cooking there. I was an active professional artist but now I love to take care of my properties and my tenants. I am in my early 50's with a friendly, outgoing spirit.

Mohammad:
Mohammad is from Iran. He is working on his Ph.D in computer science at ASU. He is smart, trustworthy, mild mannered.

Maw Maw:
Maw Maw is from Myanmar. She is on her last year as a Ph.D student in Education at Indiana University. Maw Maw is mild mannered and quiet. She is leaving this summer to go back to Indiana University, as she is here to work at ASU for a job.
