For the past 54 years home to the Merriam family. "One of the most prominent of the remaining houses of the late Colonial/early Federal period that survive in Conway". Remarkably well preserved, with original wide boards, pegged beams and paneling. The Merriams added a second house with more modern amenities but blended it in seamlessly with the original. An additional building housed a bookstore for many years. There are 10 acres with frontage on Shelburne Falls Road and both sides of Newhall Road. Truly a rare and special property.
