Originally built in 1911 by Allan Smith, the home was later owned by one of Orlando?s prominent citizens, Harold Bourne. In the early 1980?s the home had fallen into disrepair and was purchased by Orlando Landmarks Defense, Inc. (?Old?), a private group dedicated to preserving historical structures and landmarks in the City. Old performed an extensive renovation of the home and sold it to the Harvey family that owned the home until 2016.
