The MacDonald house may be the oldest Land and Town Co. house on its original site and is distinctive for its columned front porch, pedimented box bay windows and decorative frieze and corbels. In near-original condition (the back porch was enclosed as part of a 1920s remodel) the MacDonald House is designated as Historic Site No. 44.
