No exceptions! Be particularly careful of the staircase going up to the second level, especially the first step. I toured it yesterday and found it to be in considerably better condition than I expected. I did not see but a little bit of mold, and it appears the concrete walls in the basement had not suffered any freeze damage, and all the floor joists look like they are in very good condition. At the time of the flooding of the basement, which I believe was about April, apparently over the summer all the water somehow escaped or evaporated; presently the basement is dry and after all the rain that we had last week, it remains so.
