Take note of the original antique ripple glass front windows - a lost art in today's world. The gracious dining room with its refinished fir moldings (note the barrel decorative above the doorways) is silky smooth to the touch, and the deep oak window seat welcomes an afternoon of reading under the natural light. The fir beams, reproduction tin-design ceiling, and solid oak cabinets make the spacious kitchen a cozy space for creating family memories of holiday cooking. Upstairs, the beautiful oak hallway leads to a large master bedroom with a roomy closet and nursery space (or office space) complete with the original built-in wooden shirt closet and three drawers. The second bedroom is also natural wood moldings, and a bonus room offers a space for exercising or separate office. The bathroom is a special treat with solid fir wainscots surround, a 5 ½ foot antique claw foot tub, and separate tiled shower. All of the windows on the second floor are Pella replacement solid wood, double-hung window inserts.
