Folks that live in this community tell you what a hidden gem this water oriented community is. Joppatowne was one of the first planned unit communities. When developed the community boasted of various home styles, shopping, a library, restaurants and churches. There is also a nearby waterfront park with boat ramps and jogging trails, picnic tables, grills and Pavilions to rent or sit and view the waterfront. This year alone many folks along the waterfront in Rumsey Island have had bands/singers playing on their piers for the community to social distance and listen to. The Island also has a non mandatory home owner association called RIRA that has community get togethers and events if you are interested in joining for a very low fee. It's a fun place to live if you like water views on your outings around your community. The home itself is one of the largest models in the community. You will love the spaciousness of this home and many updates. It was a 3 bedroom unit, but a wall was removed in the lower level for an enlarged Family Room. However, it could be easily put back if so desired by the new owner to turn it back into a 3 bedroom (has closet and Slider Window). Home has a spacious living room and dining room.
