About Charles Major Manor Affordable Senior Housing
Are you an older adult, on a fixed income, looking for affordable housing? Charles Major Manor may just be the perfect place for you! Located in the heart of Shelbyville, Indiana, Charles Major Manor offers lots of amenities and is in walking distance of shopping, churches, restaurants, the public library, and so much more! Transportation available, by appointment only. The community also offers a wide variety of programs and services that include health, educational, exercise, social, and special community events. All programs and activities offered at Charles Major Manor reinforce feelings of well-being and provide an increased quality of life for the older adults we serve. Charles Major Manor is the only apartment community in Shelbyville that has a Service Coordinator (SC) on staff. The SC’s main objective is to help the residents maintain their independent lifestyle for as long as possible. The SC works with the residents, their families, social support networks and social service providers to answer questions, identify needs and provide assistance in locating community resources. Among many other things, these services allow Charles Major Manor to stand out from all other senior communities in Shelby County.
