The Home Company was founded by two local Omaha homebuilders with a combined 40 years of experience in 2012. The Home Company’s goal was to bring semi-custom homes to the Omaha market that were built with the cost efficiencies and discipline of a production home builder.

In January of 2019, The Home Company was purchased by Hubbell Realty Company located in Des Moines, Iowa.
