Located on U.S. Route 50 in Rancho Cordova, South White Rock is a small suburban community close to burgeoning employment centers. “There’s been a lot of new growth with Amazon and healthcare,” says Michelle DiChristopher, a local Realtor with Windemere Signature Properties. “A lot of big companies are going to this area.” While the neighborhood's west side is primarily residential, the east side is occupied by offices, medical practices and a few small hotels. As new businesses have come to Rancho Cordova, restaurants and other shops have joined them. Though green space is limited here, parks and sports complexes within a mile host get-togethers and sports leagues. Single-family homes on the neighborhood's west side include mainly three- or four-bedroom ranch-style builds with some two-story minimal traditional properties. These homes were built in the latter half of the 20th century and feature brick or vinyl siding with prominent two-car garages. Small, square front yards are shaded by mature pine trees, and many are enclosed by wire or wrought iron fencing. Prices range from $350,000 to $500,000.
