We highly recommend Ana Sturt to prospective home buyers. She is everything you want a realtor to be: knowledgeable, sharp, professional, prompt, responsive, committed and courteous. What’s more, her sunny disposition eased the strain of our relocation. Despite extreme short notice of our first visit from out of town, she pulled together a good sampling of homes for showings which fit our criteria. Then she patiently traipsed all over the greater Huntersville area while our decision making evolved. We ultimately chose to go with a new-construction home but did so confidently as a result of the due diligence we had done with Ana. During the construction phase Ana proved herself to be invaluable to us by serving as our local eyes and ears since we were not yet living in NC. Her videotape of the ongoing building process enabled us to catch mistakes early enough to be addressed by the builder. Then she was instrumental in keeping the builder accountable. We placed our Western PA home on the market in July 2014 and were planning to move closer to Pittsburgh, PA. However, after about a year on the market we decided to look into the Mooresville, NC area. Some time after that, we contacted Ana about a home she had listed online and from there, a great relationship began. We explained to Ana that our home was on the market for quite some time with no offers and we continued to reduce our price. Ana asked what we were looking for in a home and she began collecting information from us then immediately began sending us links to homes that matched our criteria in the Mooresville area. She was very proactive in keeping in touch with us through email and text messages even though we still hadn't received an offer. Once we finally did accept an offer, we contacted Ana and made plans to head to NC to look at some homes. Ana lined up eight homes for our family to view and spent the entire day driving us from home to home and also showing us points of interest. She took us to other towns she thought we might like such as Davidson and Huntersville so we could see what other possibilities we had. At the end of the day we made an offer on one home but the sellers would not budge on the price so we left NC and headed back to PA. The next day we found another home in Huntersville and called Ana about it. But we were in PA and couldn't head back to NC for another couple weeks. So Ana volunteered to perform a video walk-through of the home complete with narration. She pointed out the that the home needed remodeling but it could be a good investment. After the inspection, we decided that it was too much work for us with a one-year old and we reluctantly had to let it go. We were now 15 days into our PA home closing and needed to find a place quick. Ana lined up several more homes and I traveled back to NC alone to look at them. Ana found the perfect place for us (my wife had to take my word for it since she and my son were not able to travel to see the home) and we made an offer the same day. After some haggling, we agreed on a price and Ana got the paperwork moving quickly. She guided us through every step and was very diligent to make sure everything was complete and correct since we only had 30 days to close before our PA home would be sold. Once our family arrived at our new home, Ana made sure to contact my wife to find out if she liked the house since she was seeing it for the first time in person. Ana made us feel like we were her only client and was always available to answer our questions. She truly wanted us to achieve our goals and put us in a home we loved. Buying and selling a home is without question one of the most stressful times of your life. When looking into realtors we decided to go with Ana Sturt because we already had a friendly relationship with her and trusted her knowledge of the local market. Starting on day one Ana put us at ease and guided us through all the potential pitfalls of selling your home. Once we had a solid offer that we accepted Ana was in contact with us daily helping us through the negotiation, appraisal and then finally a overly complicated closing. At each point she reduced our stress and was a dogged advocate for us in the process. Earning the best price for your property is clearly important but her ability to put us at ease and reduce our frustration was worth every penny we paid her. Ana helped us in both finding our dream home, as well as selling our house. She was very knowledgeable of the Lake Norman and Mountain Island lake areas, and the properties available, doing substantial research on our behalf.  When it came time to place an offer, Ana guided us through the process and made sure that everything in the house was to our satisfaction, including through the inspection and associated repairs. Once we bought our house, we signed on with Ana to sell our other house.  Ana worked hard to make sure our house was advertised, organizing an open house, and working with different realtors.  At the end, we were able to sell our house within just a couple of months from buying and at the price we had set as our target at the start of the process. Every time we came across a house and called a realtor, his or her first concern was to sign us up before he or she knew our needs. One day, we came across a nice property. Ana was the agent for that property. First, she took the time to ask what we needed and what we were looking for in a home. As well as what our plans and budget were. Then, she asked us what area we were looking for and if we were going to use her as an agent or if we had someone else in mind. After a long phone call, she explained to us the system and what our first step should be. We signed up with her and then she helped us to get pre- approved on a LOAN so that we could search better for a home. We ended up buying a different house than the one we saw when we first met Ana. She always answered our calls even on Saturdays and Sundays. The times she did not, she called us back in less than five minutes. She was up on every move and in every aspect of the process of buying our new home. She was up to the minute with updating us on the FINANCE, appraisal and inspection. She never hesitated to help us in the best way possible to make it easier on us. Even if it had nothing to do with her duties as an agent. Last year when I started searching for a new home, I began by searching the Internet and driving by the homes that I liked. One day I drove by one and Ana was having an open house. That particular house was not the house for me but Ana offered her services. I'm glad that I agreed to work with her because one week after that I was signing the contract to purchase my new house. From the moment I met Ana she was polite, courteous, and went above and beyond to provide me with spectacular service.
