About Brian
Brian spent 20 years in a variety of executive positions including National Product Manager of a large German company and Vice President/General Manager for a publicly traded group of companies. His education includes an undergraduate in Applied Science and Technology from Rochester Institute of Technology and a Master’s in Business Administration from University of Memphis. Having traveled the world and lived in a variety of locations throughout the United States, Brian decided to settle and raise his family in Sarasota, a place he had been visiting since 1968.
Obviously, with few corporations based in Sarasota, Brian looked at his background and areas of interest to decide on a new career. Through his corporate experience he had become very skilled in negotiations and marketing. He always had an interest in real estate and had designed and built a home in Atlanta, Georgia. Real estate appeared to be a natural choice for a future career. In 2002, Brian felt that the timing was right to sell real estate in Florida, and he earned a Florida real estate license.
The timing was right as Brian had predicted. He joined a large real estate company and quickly made many sales which resulted in awards and recognition from his peers. Rookie of the Year from 2002-2012, President's Award, Director's Award and the Five Star Award are just a few. Brian saw an opportunity while working with others. He noticed that many people who purchase condominiums or villas in Florida are first time owners of this type of property. Unfortunately, most agents in Florida tend to be more skilled at general home sales than at condominium/villa/maintenance free property ownership. While a single family homeowner is simply purchasing a property, the condominium/villa/maintenance free property buyer is also purchasing into the development business. Good or bad, the business of the development affects the property in this type of ownership.
Brian brings his strong business background into play with his customers. For those buying into a condominium/villa/maintenance free development, he is able to properly review and educate his buyers on the financial documents, rules and regulations, bylaws and articles of incorporation related to the development. For those looking to purchase single family homes, his background in construction and inspection processes provide additional guidance. For sellers, his business marketing experience and use of applied technologies provide unique benefits. Most importantly, all his customers benefit from his proven local market knowledge, negotiation skills, responsiveness, honesty and connections to other skilled professionals who assist in the real estate sale.
