Jason was our amazing realtor that helped us with our relocation from Philadelphia to Myrtle Beach (Carolina Forest). Jason was a pleasure to work with, constantly updating us on our home construction from states away and worked diligently to ensure a seamless closing process in Myrtle the same day our other house sold. I cant say enough about working with Jason. We met Jason on our hunt to find a new home in Myrtle Beach. We knew right away that he was the real deal and wasn’t the same “cookie cutter” realtor that we were used to, just offering to send us MLS listings on an outdated website. After meeting Jason for the first time he immediately jumped into action and was unafraid with the buying challenge in a crazy sellers market (We had at least 5 places to look at before we even got out of the neighborhood).

We very much appreciated Jason’s attention to our feedback and his willingness to dig in and find information on anything we sent him. Again not the standard experience, and so refreshing not to deal with a standard agent. Jason gets to the point, works fast and doesn’t hesitate to engage his vast network in the MB area.

Ultimately Jason helped us find a new build mid-stage with Howell Homes in Waterbridge. Much to our surprise Jason rolled up his sleeves and helped us get in early and make the selections that made the house perfect. Jason even stepped in and helped coordinate all changes and helped us work through any issues.

Finally, I can’t fail to mention Jason’s willingness to answer our random questions and connect us to the Carolina Forest area. From Restaurants, pool guys, schools, etc. He not only knows tons of people and tons about the area, he really helps get you acclimated quickly. He even helped us find a selling realtor in our old neighborhood in Charleston!

Jason really made what is normally a stressful experience a breeze. We now consider Jason a friend and will leverage him for all of our future business!

Coming from CT, we blindly called the real estate company associated with a property we were interested in. We were connected with Jason Ellis, and we cannot think of anything more he could have done to facilitate the viewing of several properties, as well as coming to closure on a beautiful home.

Jason is extremely conscientious, hard working, and a fun professional to deal with. He also served as the traffic coordinator between attorneys, insurance agents, inspection people, court house personnel, and even with the sellers and their agent. He successfully was a big part of perfecting a title, to facilitate the sale.

There is no one other than Jason who we would work with or recommend.

Selling and / or buying a house can be one of the most stressful things you can do... but not when you have Jason Ellis on your side. He was a consummate professional through the whole process. On the selling side, he used amazing marketing programs and tactics to get us what we needed for our house. On the buying side, he represented us and was there every step of the way. Whether it was a late night question, doing walk throughs, understanding the closing process and everything in between, he was there. I cannot say enough about Jason Ellis and JTE Real Estate. By happen chance I met Jason while laying on a raft in a pool at Legends Resort while I was on vacation with my family.  Jason was working showing clients around the amenities area, and I asked if he had a business card.  So now over 15 years later, after multiple property purchases and sales we not only have a great business relationship but a lasting friendship.

With my background as a custom home builder in Connecticut, I understand and appreciate the value of a professional with Jason's level of expertise.  Through three decades in the home building industry, I am intimately familiar with how delicate these transactions can be.  Jason skill and experience has always served me well in the Myrtle Beach area.  If a deal came up, I would ask Jason to preview the property.  If he said it was a good deal, I would move forward, and if he said to stay away from it, I would move on.  Jason always treated each deal like he was spending his own money and that gave me a comfort level seldom seem in business.

My husband and I live in Illinois and have had a condo in Myrtle Beach for the past 12 years. It was time for us to upgrade to a home. We worked with Jason Ellis to help us find the perfect second home. Jason proved to be very professional, knowledgeable and incredibly generous with his time. He provided helpful suggestions when putting an offer on our house. He went as as far as parking 2 large vehicles in the garage of the home I wound up buying just to ease my mind that my vehicles would fit without any problems. After the sale was completed he took exceptional care of us with providing us the names of the best contractors in home inspection, fencing and window treatments. Though living out of town Jason was quick to handle responses on all purchase documents and closing statements and always made that phone call or text to make sure we received these documents. He was extremely thorough Jason then went out of his way in helping get my condo ready for sale with valuable suggestions. He had enlisted a professional photographer in aiding the sale of this condo quickly; and it did. He personally handled the closing for us With purchasing a home and selling through Jason I give him the highest recommendation a 12 out of 10. He will be my go to realtor in the future.

In any transaction for the sale and purchase of land with or without improvements, be it residential or commercial, the realtor plays out a large number of roles indispensable to the success consummation of the deal. These roles include, but are not limited to, that of a market educator, information provider, negotiator, problem solver, financial services educator, and an intermediary with legal counsel for both Purchaser and Seller, and the resolution of either real or perceived hindrance(s) to a successful consummation of a transaction/deal.

A competent realtor can also address and eliminate misperceptions and misunderstandings which may arise between negotiating parties and can, based on his experience, recognize legal issues and act as a liaison with legal counsel for the parties which may need to be addressed and/or resolved either at or before closing.
