Abel Medrano

Abel Medrano, has 10+ years of experience wearing multiple hats within different asset classes of real estate. During his time in corporate real estate, Abel was responsible for being an advocate for occupiers of commercial properties conducting negotiations for many of the most significant real estate transactions in Colorado, coastal US markets and other markets around the world. His specialties were lease negotiations, build-to-suit contracts, headquarters relocations, structured nance, lease and sale dispositions and fee simple acquisitions. Abel’s highly strategic team of professionals was capable of managing complex portfolios and one-off transactions involving office, industrial, multifamily, mixed-use, and other types of commercial property. A full-ride scholar and graduate of the University of Colorado at Boulder, Abel grew up in the Vail Valley and has called Colorado home since 1990. Abel is a firm believer in higher-education and serves on the local advisory Board of College Track, an organization that supports unprivileged high school students and helps get them accepted into 4-year universities, including Ivy League Institutions. With a similar background as some of those students, Abel's involvement since 2013 has helped College Track expand all over the US and is on a mission to grow an alumni network of 1,600 students by 2024. Abel is originally from Mexico and continues visiting family along with running other businesses down there. On his free time, he enjoys mentoring, reading, traveling, playing music, and spending time with his family, his wife Jessica, and daughter Camila.
