Abigail Agranat, one of Douglas Elliman's very top brokers, comes to Real Estate from the world of academia, Columbia University Graduate School, and has taught comparative literature for many years. She received her real estate license in 1991 and has since become a well known expert in the sale of townhouses, lofts and luxury apartments. Her dedication to buyers and sellers alike is legendary. In her own unique and idiosyncratic style she exudes confidence and charm and is able to transform a difficult process into one of enjoyment for both sellers and buyers. She excels at understanding the needs and aesthetic choices of her customers and methodically searches for the right fit, while serving the needs of an anxious seller patiently and meticulously.

To counterbalance her intense life, she loves to travel to varied destinations around the globe in search of Romanesque churches and dramatic landscapes. She is passionate about Japan and Italy. (Her English Shepherd dog is named Siena.) She has lived in Israel, England and Italy. Abigail loves to watch documentary films, go to off-Broadway shows, visit art galleries and read short stories. Practicing Tai Chi for well over a decade has helped her enormously, especially in the most intense real estate moments.
