With over eight years’ experience as a top real estate agent, Adam Chasen brings an unparalleled depth of knowledge across real estate and local geographic expertise. Born and raised in Maryland, Adam Chasen leads the Chasen Homes Team of Compass. Earning multiple high achiever awards throughout his real estate career, beginning with “Rookie of the Year” in his first year of the business and adding to his accolades on an annual basis, Adam has helped hundreds of clients buy and sell in successful transactions. His unmatched knowledge of former, current, and future local development, and his understanding of the markets both national and international have made him one of the top agents for people moving to the area. Adam’s clients also benefit from his strong background in both the mortgage and settlement business. He has helped numerous clients acclimate to the DMV market, with recommendations and connections stretching far past traditional real estate expertise to help his clientele feel at home in their new city.
As a fourth generation Washingtonian, Adam grew up with a large extended family, many of whom participated in real estate development and real estate law. Raised in Montgomery County, Maryland, Adam attended the same high school (Walter Johnson) as his father, and the rival of his mother’s school, Bethesda Chevy-Chase. In addition, Adam’s paternal and maternal grandfathers were in the same graduating class of Eastern High School in Southeast Washington, D.C.
Now residing in Rockville, Maryland, with wife Georgia and son Tate, Adam is an avid sports enthusiast, animal lover, and spirited traveler. As a level one sommelier, Adam is a food and wine connoisseur with many restaurant recommendations. Experienced in coaching youth football, dog training and the wrangling of his young son, Adam knows how to help clients juggle their passions with their housing needs. A supporter of national animal charities, and member of the Best Friends Animal Society, Georgetown University Hoya Hoops Club booster, and a number of local charitable institutions, Adam cares deeply about his community.
Challenge Adam to your favorite board or card game, as there is nothing he loves more than a friendly competition; unless it is winning the negotiation to get his client the house of their dreams. To that end, Adam applies his masterful strategy on behalf of his clients and thinks about real estate like a game of chess. His philosophy is: if you are not thinking two or three steps ahead, you are already behind. Whether assisting a buyer or seller, Adam reviews each home with his unique approach to customize the marketing and strategy.
Adam’s favorite part of being a real estate agent is the diverse and interesting people he gets to work with daily, building life-long relationships with his clients.
