About AJ

Hello, my name is AJ Lape and I’ve been a real estate broker since 2012. Prior to my real estate career, I spent a decade in the Navy, and some time in commercial construction as well. Working with veterans is a niche that I fell into since I am on myself and I know a lot of them. VA loans and some of their quirks is something that many realtors are unsure of or uncomfortable with. But I know them inside and out, so if you are going that route as a buyer than you should definitely get a hold of me. Speaking of buyers, I love working with you guys and taking you through the process of buying your home. Making sure that you have a lot of knowledge going into the transaction so there are minimal if any surprises, and you feel educated and informed instead of anxious about purchasing what will likely be the largest thing you ever buy.

When it comes to taking listings and working with sellers, the things that I offered as a standard in my business are unmatched. Most brokers don’t offer these things at all, and if they do they tend to be add-ons. But for me they are no exceptions; this is a standard of practice. What am I referring to exactly? Hiring in interior designer to give you staging tips, having professional photos taken, getting a 3-D walk-through done of your home, aerial drone shots and flyover videos (if large property), and targeted marketing on Google and all social media platforms for a start.
