AJ grew up in Oregon and attended Oregon State University/Bethany University where he played basketball and baseball. Community and volunteering are a big part of AJ’s life. He has worked with Community Partnerships of Idaho (working with special needs teens and adults) and Word Warriors (anti-bullying group who speak at different middle schools/high schools). While in Bend, Oregon AJ raised $10,000 to start a travel basketball team for players to get to play in front of college coaches and potentially earn a college scholarship. Here in Boise, he is a Youth Leader and Mentor at Cornerstone Community Church. His greatest joy is being with his wife and family. AJ is a father to two beautiful girls and one son with another on the way. Soon to be a father of four.
