Alan is a National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) Green designee. He helps home buyers and sellers make educated decisions about green materials, upgrades, energy-efficient technology, green design, green incentives, and more. He also hold NAR's AHWD® diversity certification.
Born and raised in North Carolina, Alan moved to Chapel Hill in 1983 as an undergraduate and lived in each of the three major cities that comprise the Triangle. He worked for 16 years in Manhattan in sales and marketing and worked alongside colleagues and clients from diverse backgrounds and cultures. Alan has done home renovation and understands the process and craftsmanship that are desired and present in the places that we call home. His strong desire is to make his home, North Carolina and the greater Triangle, your home.
Alan advocates for the pickleball community in Chapel Hill and volunteers for the Orange County Animal Shelter. He enjoys hiking area land preserves with family and friends, visiting local farms and farmers markets, supporting local business, and baking.
