Alan Cohen

One of Brookline and Newton’s most prolific and practiced Realtors, Alan is also a Historic Homes Marketing Specialist, certified by the Peabody Essex Museum in Salem, MA. His keen communication, negotiation and visual skills have been refined for over twenty-five years in real estate and prior experience as a clinical social worker and Children’s Museum exhibition developer. Valued for his market knowledge, attentiveness, and reliable counsel, Alan’s reputation for diligence has earned him a strong following among former clients and other real estate professionals who entrust him with their referrals.

Alan served for over a decade as an appointee to the Brookline Human Relations & Youth Resources Commission, and is also a past Brookline Preservation Commissioner, co-chair of the W.M. Lincoln Elementary School Advisory Council, and Brookline Mental Health Center board member. He remains active in various arts and the philanthropic activities including the “Hearts & Noses Hospital Clown Troupe,” board of directors, and also as a volunteer hospital troupe clown, providing pediatric services at Tufts Floating Hospital for Children.
