Albany Shaw

Having grown up amongst the towering oaks and rolling hills of Oak Cliff, come of age on SMU’s campus in the Park Cities, found purpose while teaching in Fair Park, and cut her teeth as an attorney at an Am Law 100 firm downtown, it would be an understatement to say that this city has shaped her.

Albany offers her clients an intimate awareness of the beauty, charm, and potential in neighborhoods across all price points throughout the city. Couple that awareness with her ability to negotiate for her clients and diffuse tensions (as only a former teacher turned lawyer could), and it’s easy to see why well over 95% of Albany’s transactions stem from referrals and repeat business from former clients..

Albany views herself as an advisor. As a result, her clients often note how much they appreciate her candid yet thoughtful advice, which she’s known to give just as easily with a smile as with a smidge of sarcasm.

Albany and her husband called the Lower Greenville area home for over a decade and have now settled in North Oak Cliff. When she’s not checking out local restaurants with close friends and family, traveling, or losing herself in a good book, you’ll find Albany sneaking in her guilty pleasure--watching Korean dramas.
