As a first time home buyer, we were very nervous buying our first house, but Alex Mayer put a lot of time and effort into alleviating our various concerns. He was patient and kind as he walked us through the process and what to expect with astonishing accuracy. Whenever unexpected things would come up throughout the process, he was always available to take our call. On the off chance that he wasn't available to immediately talk he would get back to us within 5 minutes. There is no one else I can recommend making the home buying process as easy as possible. Thanks again Alex, and we will be contacting him if we ever decide to sell.

We found Alex based on some glowing recommendations from friends, after we had a really bad experience with another realtor. Choosing Alex was a blessing. He answered my first phone call while he was golfing, and was willing to drop everything right that minute to show us a house we were interested in. He is very knowledgeable, his communication is top notch, and he will help guide you through the whole process, with your best interest in mind. Realtors are very busy people, and Alex still finds time to respond or return a phone call in a timely manner. He also helps to field any inconveniences that may arise during the closing process.

Alex was more than we could have asked for during the home buying process. We viewed a lot of homes and whenever we found one that we wanted to look at, Alex dropped whatever he was doing, scheduled the viewing, and we were on our way to look at it within a very short time! Being first time home buyers, we had almost no knowledge when it comes to the housing market. Alex laid it all out for us, and made us a thousand percent more confident in what we were getting into. You can tell he really cares about what he does and who he's doing it for. If you're in the market for a home or selling your home, you have to get into contact with Alex. A friend recommended Alex Mayer to us after they had purchased a home and I am so glad they did! As a first time home buyer it can get overwhelming, but Alex took the time to educate us on the whole process and made sure to communicate all the information we needed at every step of the way. A few months after moving to Rochester, MN and realizing I wanted to make it my home, I met Alex Mayer and I couldn’t be more grateful that I did! From the start it was clear that he is passionate about finding the right home for his buyers. Our first real discussion was focused on figuring out what I was looking for, educating me on the whole process, and helping me find a loan officer to give me the best financing advantages. Before that discussion, the prospect of buying a house was honestly overwhelming. Alex did such an amazing job answering all my questions and ensuring me that he had my back that it felt exciting instead of overwhelming. He was quick to get back to me with answers to any questions or concerns that came up and I never felt pressured to put an offer in on a house I wasn’t obsessed with. I can't speak highly enough of our experience with Alex Mayer. I was a first-time homebuyer with very little knowledge about how to find the right place. I met with a couple of home owner programs before Alex, but I knew instantly that he was the one for me. He is honest, hand-on, and knowledgeable and he really helped to take the pressure off of us. He knows his job and he knows the business. I never felt forced to make an offer and when I finally found the "one" and ended up making an offer, Alex walked me through every step of the negotiations, even suggesting what I should offer the sellers to secure the offer. Like said before he honest and knowledgeable off this business. If you want to find a great home I would recommend Alex 10 out 10 times. He's the guy.

From the beginning Alex provided my wife and I extremely useful education which allowed for us to set our expectations higher than we initially expected. This was my third transaction with Alex. We purchased our home two years ago, and most recently sold that home, and purchased our current home, with Alex. I couldn't be happier. Alex is dedicated, thorough, timely, and simply goes above and beyond what our expectations were.

With our most recent purchase, we saw that it was listed, sent him a message at 6:30 a.m. to let him know of our interest, and we planned to view it at the open house scheduled for the next day,. Within hours of letting him know we were interested, Alex called us, asked "Why are we waiting until tomorrow? What are you doing tonight?" and was able to set up a showing, put together a competitive offer, and got the ball rolling that night. We couldn't be happier.

Throughout the entire process, Alex kept us informed of where things were in the process, informed us of anything we needed to do or if no action was required from us at that time, He was available for any and all questions we had. Although we knew we were not his only client, he most definitely made us feel like we were.

If you are buying or selling your home, or know someone who may be, I couldn't recommend Alex enough. He is a mover, shaker, is knowledgeable, and is well-versed in the area of real estate. He studies his profession, knows it and does it well, and I cannot say enough good about him.

Alex was absolutely AMAZING!!! I started everything completely backwards and he jumped in and handled it all. I had looked at a house and wanted to put in an offer however I quickly realized I was in way over my head. I found him online and called him and he talked me through my anxieties and set up a time he could go with me to look at the home again. So glad that happened as he looked at things I never even thought of and long story short we didn't purchase that home and it was a blessing. I told him we weren't going to continue looking. Well.... I couldn't help myself and kept randomly looking, so fast forward 4 months - I called Alex again and was like hey - I want to look at these two houses. No hesitation - he set it up and I'm currently writing this review from my new home! And by the way the houses were 40 minutes away! If it wasn't for Alex I am certain we would either still be where we were or bought something that we would have regretted. His knowledge about the business and surrounding area was incredible. His passion for what he does is evident in every conversation as well. I am not a patient person and so I would text him late or at weird times and he always responded and never did I get the impression he was irritated. I was clueless on what to do and how to do it and he always had a recommendation or handled it for me. Buying a home is stressful to say the least and he put all the stress he could on his shoulders. He also met when it was convenient for me even if it was dark and 20 below! Another huge deal for me was that I had to bring my small children with most of the time and he always chatted with them, was patient and kind. He is an all-star in every way in his profession. If you don't hire Alex to help you with the purchase and/or sale of your home you will be doing yourself a great disservice.

I highly recommend Alex for your realtor needs. Alex is the most dedicated, knowledgeable, and persistent realtor we have had the pleasure to work with. Selling your home and moving can be physically and emotionally exhausting and this was not our first time, but it was the best experience we’ve had by far. From the start, Alex displayed a high level of skill and efficiency, with suggestions and ideas to help maximize our selling price. I can honestly say that Alex goes above and beyond to get your house ready to be placed on the market. Alex hired professional stagers followed by professional photographers and videographers. Our home looked phenomenal with the décor updates and professional photographs! But that wasn’t where Alex stopped, once it hit the market, he used his digital marketing strategies making sure anyone looking for a home was going to see ours. The amount of views our home had in the first 24 hours was almost unbelievable. We ended up selling in under a week with multiple offers/a bidding war! Throughout the whole process, Alex was always immediately available.
