About Alex 'Sandy'

Sandy is the Principal and Founder of The Wihtol Group. He has been a licensed full-time Realtor since 1986, serving his clients up and down the peninsula. Born and raised in the Mountain View/Los Altos area, Sandy enjoys telling the story that he was really born and raised in the country and then had the city move to him as he has seen many of the changes and growth that has come to our area.

Sandy has a broad experience in working with buyers and sellers in the towns and cities along the peninsula while representing buyers and sellers at all levels of real estate to include the patience and attention required for the first-time buyers as well. Sandy has acquired an expert broad-brush knowledge of the entire peninsula real estate market and holds an excellent working relationship and reputation amongst his other fulltime working professional realtors in the area. In addition, Sandy has extensive relationships with the better-known builders and developers in the area and a wealth of contacts for his clients who may have needs with their current homes also.

Besides consistently being in the top 5% of all working real estate professionals and a member of the Intero Presidents Club, Sandy gives a lot of his time back to the local youth baseball programs. Prior to becoming a realtor, Sandy played professional baseball with the Cleveland Indians organization from 1975 until 1984, making it to the major leagues in 1979, 1980 and 1982. Sandy enjoys the opportunity to work with the young players and passes on his experiences to them. In addition, Sandy has been very generous in his financial donations back to youth baseball in the area along with the Los Altos High School Athletic Program.
