Alex Tower Sears is the only realtor I would consider engaging in Anne Arundel County - or frankly, anywhere in Maryland. Over the last 20 years, I’ve bought three houses and sold two others with Alex as my realtor. She is honest, responsive, very savvy, and incredibly thorough. I’ve seen her research properties to uncover both assets and liabilities previously unknown to even the very listing agents! That is remarkable. Most realtors simply are not as competent.

Alex is able to operate at a higher level than others because of her extensive experience, tenacity, and critical thinking skills. Two graduate degrees are a testament to her intellect and ability to conduct archival research. She has birddogged problems for me until they were resolved - always looking out for my best interests.

Her familiarity with a diverse portfolio of neighborhoods in the county has served me well over the years as I’ve grown into properties at different price points. Ever poised and the picture of “grace under pressure,” Alex is capable of maneuvering among the thorniest of personalities (even mine). She has a way of making everyone at the table feel valued.

Unlike any other realtor’s is Alex’s prowess as a decorator and staging consultant. She has excellent taste and strategic vision, which leads to tangible results in the form of rapid, top-dollar, and often escalated sales. A smart client will listen to her advice. I have and it’s paid off, especially the last sale in Crofton, which drew the highest sales price ever in the neighborhood.

I can’t say enough to convey how much I respect Alex’s professional ability. She’s simply the best - and a good person too. That means a lot to me.

Alex Tower Sears did a phenomenal job coordinating the sale of our undeveloped waterfront property. She was meticulous in answering questions and doing the research to price the property for the market. We had three competitive offers within 24 hours. The sale closed in under one month.
