Alex joined the Compass team in 2020 after spending 5 years at Douglas Elliman where he was co-head of the Fieldstone Group, which was the top producing team for Douglas Elliman in Connecticut for 4 of those years. Alex made an immediate impact when entering the residential real estate market, winning Douglas Elliman Rookie of the Year honors for the state of Connecticut in 2016. Alex has deep roots in the Greenwich community having been born and raised in Greenwich. He graduated from Greenwich Country Day School and Brunswick School.
Upon graduation from the University of Virginia, Alex moved to San Francisco where he was one of the first employees for Silicon Valley venture-backed tech start-up Identified Inc, which was later acquired by Worday (WDAY). Alex got his first exposure to real estate when he joined real estate private equity firm, Stolar Capital. At Stolar, Alex acquired single and multi-family properties, managing the acquisition process from initial bidding to closing.
