Allison Pennell

A longtime writer and documentary maker, Allison comes to Compass from Brown Harris Stevens. She knows and loves NYC, having lived on the UWS and in Park Slope for many years. A graduate of PS 166, IS 44, and Barnard, Allison went to graduate school in documentary film at Stanford before returning to New York so her husband could attend the graduate architecture program at Columbia. She has a finely tuned sense of what will work for her clients and how to make the process of real estating fun and successful. And being married to a design+builder has given her special insight into renovating and development in the city, particularly Brownstone Brooklyn.
