Alonya Buford

Alonya Buford was born and raised in Oakland and have extensive knowledge of Oakland and the East Bay. Her appreciation of real estate began as a little girl with her going to work with my father, who is a retired land surveyor. This early introduction to real estate and land development peeked her interest in the business. Her passion for people, unparalleled commitment to serving others and desire to always lead with integrity fuels her love of this business.

Alonya's corporate experience includes working for Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL), Verizon Wireless and Kaiser Permanente, where she held positions in Corporate Real Estate and Capital Projects. Her experience in these positions give her in depth knowledge of budgets, schedules and negotiations. This experience with her personal passion for business propelled her real estate career, as she is able to give clients realistic expectations of the market.

Alonya studied at California State University, Sacramento receiving her Bachelor’s Degree, Spring 2006 in Business Administration, with a Minor in Real Estate and land use. Additionally, she has completed a Certification in Project Management from the UC Berkeley Extension. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with family, serving on the greeter’s ministry at church, traveling as well as entertaining.
