Alvin Gels

Al joined Coldwell Banker in 2011 representing sellers and buyers in the Southern California luxury home market who entrust Al to guide them through every step of the real estate process. During his brief tenure Al has been recognized in Coldwell Bankerrsquo;s Society of Excellence in 2016 and 2015.

Al has been licensed as a real estate Broker since 2004 taking after his Father, who practiced as a real estate Broker for 35 years. Al came to Coldwell Banker after spending 7+ years as an independent Broker specializing in land transactions and site acquisition for utility scale solar electric generation projects. Through his earlier professional career Alrsquo;s skills were honed working for and selling energy commodities to Fortune 500 companies with unmatched attention to negotiating strategies, relationships, customer service and detail.

Al earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and practiced public accounting as a CPA before entering the corporate world; he remains a Member of the American Institute of CPAs.

Al and his wife Lisa have lived and raised their two children in Newport Beach since 1993. When not working, Al is active in his church community, he is past Commodore of the Offshore Cruising Club. He is the Founder and Lead of NextDoor; Newport Heights/Cliff Haven; his neighborhood's social network. Al enjoys skiing, cooking and tending his edible garden.
