About Amanda

Amanda grew up in the Argyle/Denton area and has two degrees in Political Science and English from TWU and SMU. With this background Amanda found a passion for working with buyers and selling new construction homes with D.R. Horton. Amanda was a top ten seller in 2017 and 2018. She took some time and learned about the digital side of buying and selling with Zillow. With that knowledge Amanda began working on learning all about marketing for real estate and the ins and outs of how Special Purpose Districts work. In 2021 Amanda joined Shelton Development and used her past knowledge of new construction and business to help grow Shelton Development. Amanda works monthly with the financial district attorney’s for our special purpose districts and manages the monthly draws for our current development projects.

Amanda has grown up in the development world and is honored to be part of the family business that her grandfather and dad have created.
