As a resident of New Braunfels since 2007, I have become a big fan of this growing Texas town. We started life in the hill country on the edge of town, raising goats and chickens. Later, we ventured into “city” life around the Comal River and Landa Park Golf Course. All four of our children have been raised in New Braunfels. And while three don their maroon and white at Texas A&M University in College Station, the fourth opted to become a Lumberjack at Stephen F. Austin University.

I began my career in marketing and advertising in the Dallas area after marrying my high school sweetheart. I landed my first real job out of college at Dr Pepper/7Up in Dallas, Texas. My roles evolved as we moved around for my husband’s training from Dallas to Lubbock to Long Island. Once we put down roots in New Braunfels, I invested in my kids by volunteering and working at their various schools. I have a Bachelor’s of Business Administration in Marketing from Southern Methodist University.

In my spare time, I enjoy leading bible studies, teaching yoga at our local recreation center, spending time with my family, cooking tasty meals and running.
