Amy Rhude

Amy is a proud Colorado native who deeply understands the value of raising a family in the Centennial State. Although she grew up on the front range, she frequently visited Chaffee County for camping and outdoor adventures with her family.

After graduating from the University of Northern Colorado with a degree in business management, Amy and her college sweetheart, Adam, chose to make Salida their home. Adam's work as a raft guide reinforced their love for this area and its year-round activities.

Amy quickly established local connections, initially working for a local insurance company. She later dedicated time to raising their two daughters while helping to build her husband's log home construction business. When the time was right, she re-entered the workforce and obtained her paralegal certificate, working for a local attorney at the Cutler Law Office, LLC for 15 years. During her time in the legal field, Amy discovered a passion for title searches—particularly for water rights—and ensuring accurate property transfers. This experience, combined with her other professional roles, inspired her to pursue a career in real estate.

Amy is committed to continuous learning in all her endeavors. She goes the extra mile to ensure everyone she works with feels confident and well-informed.

With over two decades in Salida, Amy is an active community member. She has been involved in all levels of school activities. Additionally, she is the current Regent for the local chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, an organization focused on preserving local history and education.

Amy and her family fully embrace the Colorado lifestyle, enjoying activities such as skiing, ATV trips, hiking, attending music events, visiting with friends, and cheering on all of Colorado's professional sports teams. Sometimes, the simple peace of sitting by a creek is all the adventure they need.
