Amy Scharpf

A Chinese-American born in Taiwan, and Hawaii native, Amy Chen Scharpf has been a long-time DMV resident delivering full-spectrum residential real estate sales service to her valued clients since 2003. Amy’s success comes from her high-touch approach in representing buyers and sellers in the sought-after areas of Bethesda, Potomac, McLean, Arlington and DC. Her impressive understanding of the nuances of each of these submarkets serves as an invaluable source of information on each community - from schools, to local hidden gems, and the specific amenities offered by each neighborhood and area. Amy is one of few agents in the area who is bilingual in Chinese and English and possesses an entrepreneurial mindset with excellent negotiation skills. Amy loves the outdoors and enjoys skiing, swimming and hiking the numerous trails along the Potomac River. She is very active in her community from volunteering in Pyle Middle School and Walt Whitman High School, to being a Girl Scout “Cookie Mom” for many years. She is a graduate of James Madison University (Roll Dukes!). Her beautiful family includes her husband Sam who’s a native Washingtonian, two daughters, and two rescue dogs Winnie and Amber.
