Andrea Kennedy has called coastal North Carolina home for the past ten years. Prior to moving to the Wilmington area, Andrea graduated from Marist College in upstate New York with a double major in psychology and education and a master’s degree in educational psychology. She taught elementary education for almost twenty years in New York State and North Carolina before obtaining her Real Estate License.
The skill set Andrea developed during her career in education helps to enhance her effectiveness as a realtor. She works diligently to differentiate, customize and tailor her services to meet each client’s individualized needs, wants and goals. She is an effective communicator and prides herself on creating relationships both professionally and personally that are built on trust.
She and her husband, Lou, have three boys, Harrison, and twins, Luke and Mason. They also have the sweetest rescue pup, Stella.
In her free time, Andrea enjoys spending time with family and friends. They can be found traveling, boating, camping on the beach, hiking, paddleboarding, surfing, and spending Sunday afternoons in the kitchen cooking up homemade pasta and meatballs. Andrea also enjoys DIY home improvements and interior design. She enjoys watching her children play music and lacrosse. Andrea and her family love calling the Wilmington/Hampstead area home and experiencing the year-round beauty of the coast.
Andrea grew up in Pearl River, NY, and is the daughter of a retired Air Force Colonel. She is proud to support the Tunnel to Towers Organization, honoring first responders, military veterans, and their families for over twenty years.
