Andrew Black is a multifamily investment specialist based in San Francisco, now proudly representing Engel & Völkers as of 2025. With a strong foundation in economics and athletics from the University of California, Berkeley—where he earned his B.S. in Economics and walked on to the football team—Andrew brings discipline, resilience, and a competitive edge to every client engagement.
Originally from Spokane, Washington, Andrew was raised in a family deeply rooted in real estate. From a young age, he was immersed in property management, brokerage, and development, which laid the groundwork for his future in the industry. After graduating in 2017, he spent six months traveling the world before launching his career at Marcus & Millichap. There, he quickly made his mark, earning the National Pacesetter Award and being named “Rookie of the Year” in the San Francisco office.
Andrew later joined Compass Commercial, where he focused on the exclusive representation of buyers and sellers of multifamily investments in Alameda County. His transition to Engel & Völkers marks a new chapter in his career, aligning with a global brand known for its premium service and market expertise.
He currently resides in the Marina District of San Francisco and enjoys triathlon training, snow skiing, boating, traveling, and golfing in his free time.
