Andrew Poe with The Pro Team - Keller Williams Realty made selling our home in Gainesville Florida an exceptionally easy and pleasant experience. Selling a home was a new experience for us and it was complicated by our residing more than 300 miles away. Our first step was deciding who to select as our realtor. We read all the reviews for Gainesville realtors on all the websites we found and Andrew and others on his team were at the top of our list, we sent emails to four different brokers. Fortunately for us, Andrew was the first responder—he has been a godsend.
After speaking with Andrew on our first call, we decided immediately to select him as our broker and gave him access to our home without our having to be there. Andrew did a thorough inspection of our home and made a number of recommendations for improvements that could be accomplished quickly and at a reasonable cost. Andrew contacted landscapers, cleaning businesses, and tree services and obtained estimates for their work. These companies provided cost and schedule estimates; and, after we accepted these estimates, all the work was accomplished professionally and within one week. Andrew personally supervised the work and the results exceeded our expectations—our home had never looked better!
As soon as this work was completed, Andrew arranged for a professional photographer to highlight our home. Andrew then virtually staged the home with furniture, rugs, and accessories. The results were phenomenal! We couldn’t believe that the furnishings were not actually in the home. The choices he made looked like we had hired an expensive home decorator to prepare our home.
The photography work was accomplished in two days after the final landscaping, cleaning, and pressure washing; and, Andrew listed our home for sale late on a Wednesday night at a sales price that we thought was the maximum we could expect the home to sell for. We had two offers at our listing price the next day; and by Friday, we had offers above our list price. We delayed accepting offers until the additional showings that were scheduled for Saturday, and on Sunday, we accepted an offer that was well above our asking price.
Andrew’s support didn’t stop with us signing the sales contract. He assisted with the appraisal, financing, and closing and always kept us completely informed about what was going on.
In summary, we couldn’t be happier with the work that Andrew performed on our behalf. He offered expert advice on home improvements and maintenance activities that provided an excellent return on investment, his research on sales pricing was absolutely on target, his communications were always very timely, clear, and helpful. Andrew Poe made selling our home quick, easy, and enjoyable. Selecting Andrew to sell our home was one of the best decisions my wife and I have ever made.

We went back and forth for a few years determining if we were ready to buy a house, and Andrew was always there to answer any questions we might have; he even helped us find our last rental in very short notice.

When we were finally ready, Andrew helped us with each step, big and small. He was always a quick phone call or text away. There are different parties involved in the purchasing of a home, so I will do my best not to let some not some less positive aspects of my experience color this review.

I was very fortunate to find my dream home within two days of meeting Jason Biles, and on the whole, everything went smoothly until the end. Jason was cheerful, professional, and helpful. He was available whenever I wanted to take another look at my prospective home. He was responsive anytime I contacted him. He gave me advice and answered my questions that were sometimes about things to do post-closing.

At the end, when there were a couple of issues from the seller's end, Jason went out of his way to make sure my concerns were addressed, even after closing was complete. An example is how he drove over with a friend at night to help me move back a washer and dryer that had been left outside my property by the seller, because he knew I would be unable to move them in on my own.

As a first home buyer, I wish there would be a better streamlining of communication (or perhaps, checks and balances?) between the buyer's and seller's agents, or perhaps between seller and their agent. That would improve the overall experience. Having written that, it was a pleasure working with Jason Biles.

Chris Thompson is an amazing real estate agent that I developed a very strong bond with. He is so hardworking, dedicated, and compassionate. I put a lot of trust in Chris to find me and help me close on the perfect house, and he absolutely did! I knew I could trust him when he always looked out for my best interest and would thoroughly explain every single detail about confusing terminology. Chris is very quick at responding to ensure that a housing tour is scheduled ASAP and he will work around the clock to make sure his clients get the best service possible. Jason Biles is the unicorn of realtors!! He's attentive without being pushy, and just makes you feel at ease. He was always super responsive and readily available via text, day or night. You definitely don't have to worry about being ghosted by Jason! Buying or selling a home is not easy. You need an experienced, knowledgeable, hard-working realtor to assist you in the process. What is even more difficult is moving cross-country to a state you are unfamiliar with. Finding a home in a location that will fit your needs when you are unfamiliar takes the help of an extremely dedicated realtor that will invest the time and effort. We were lucky to find exactly that in Andrew Poe of the Pro Team/Keller Williams Realty.

Moving from DE to Florida, we had no knowledge of the area, or which area would best suit our needs. We had a long list of “must haves” and “wants” which we provided to Andrew. One absolute must have was high-speed internet since I work from home. I did not realize how difficult finding a home with land, a fenced yard, ranch style with open concept and most importantly high-speed internet would be.

We contacted Andrew before leaving DE. 2 days later when we arrived in FL, Andrew had several appointments scheduled for us. This was not an easy task at the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic. Not only are there very few homes on the market but because Florida is so rural, many homes on the market did not have access to high-speed internet. Before scheduling appointments, Andrew contacted the internet providers himself to be sure the homes we were viewing had (or could have access) to the service we would need. After viewing several homes, one day after we arrived, we made an offer on a beautiful home in the small town of Newberry, FL.

Andrew is very detail oriented. During the process he pointed out discrepancies with the listing and survey which he had corrected. He made sure everything was stated correctly on all the paperwork and we were getting what we expected.

Andrew helped us through the entire buying process. He was available anytime, at any hour for any questions we had. He managed the process so well, one month after arriving in FL, we moved into our forever home!

READ THIS... I was cold called by Michael Bryan, he was so impressive over the phone as I had my house on the Market For Sale by Owner.
I met with Michael and Andrew and they were both very professional courteous. I had a lead as FSBO and that lead came through as the final sale of the house, but I needed help. Pro Team Gainesville did a great job selling my house and they were a pleasure to work with. Prior to teaming up with Pro Team Gainesville, I worked with another Realtor for over 6 months and made little progress finding a buyer. The Realtor suggested we take the house off of the market in October of 2017 because the holidays were approaching and there would be very little activity until the new year. Then I met Michael Bryan with Pro Team Gainesville. He was very optimistic about listing the property during the holidays and he said that they had good success selling properties during the 4th quarter of the year. I agreed to let Pro Team Gainesville list my house in November of 2017. They hired a professional photographer to take pictures of both the exterior and interior of my house and they came out looking great. They marketed my house on the internet with those great photos and less that 6 weeks later, just before Christmas, we were in contract to sell the house. The initial realtor never took professional photos nor did they use the internet as competently to market my house. Michael Bryan and Andrew Poe then worked very closely with me and the buyers agent to navigate the remaining details to complete the transaction. Pro Team Gainesville far exceeded my expectations and I highly recommend them if you need their services for any reason.

I absolutely loved the experience I had with pro team Gainesville! I had decided to use a lender that was out of state and there were a lot of hiccups throughout the process of being approved for the loan, but Michael my realtor worked diligently to make sure I was not only approved for a loan but received the house that I had my eyes on. I would 1000 times over recommend this team to anybody and everybody based on the awesome experience that I had with their dedication and knowledge.

Andrew Poe was a phenomenal realtor. My fiancé and I were looking to get a property here in Gainesville, and we were put in contact with Andrew. From the first conversation, we knew that Andrew cared more about finding us the property that we wanted rather than just selling us any property. When showing us a home, he was even more critical in the inspection than I was. I was fairly enthusiastic to get a property, and I feel that other realtors would have loved to take advantage of me. Andrew voiced caution and helped me keep a calm and level head throughout the process. He got us a far better price than what we were first expecting.
Andrew was a very strong asset to have on our side. Anytime that we had a question for him, he would either answer or return our call in just a few minutes. We had many questions throughout the whole process and Andrew was always there with an answer. He re-read every form that I asked him to which provided us with great confidence and clarity throughout the process.
I would recommend Andrew to any of my friends/family. He knows Gainesville very well and is extremely accessible. Me and my fiancé will definitely be coming back to Andrew for any future purchases.
