About Andrew
Andrew Schneider is a broker with Corcoran Urban whose passion is deeply embedded on the Northwest side of the city. Clients from across the area enjoy working with him for his hyper-local knowledge, professionalism, and background on the residential and commercial landscape of the area. Born in the northwest suburb of Park Ridge, Andrew moved to the east coast as a child, returning to finish school in the Chicago suburbs. The long-time Logan Square resident has lived there since 2003.
Schneider graduated from the University of Illinois in 2001, with a degree in Political Science and a minor in Rhetoric. He has been a small business owner and a journalist, writing for the Sun-Times Media Group and a variety of newspaper groups in the suburbs for over a decade. He received his real estate license in 2012 and has helped buyers, sellers, tenants, and landlords navigate the market largely on the Northwest side of the city.
He is currently president of Logan Square Preservation, a neighborhood group a post he has held for nine years. In that time the organization has raised more than $350,000 for local charitable beautification efforts such as tree-planting and restoration of historic public buildings. Schneider is also the neighborhood’s volunteer historian, presenting several lectures a year in a variety of venues. He regularly conducts tours of the historic architecture that has made Logan Square famous. He has also served on the Local School Council for Brentano Elementary School. Andrew is married with three children.
